Personal guide & emotional integration

One day you realise that this is not the way you want to live; something is wrong and something needs to change. The mystery lies in discovering what is wrong and what needs to change. And so with curiosity you take your first step on a voyage where your only comfort is in the knowledge that one day you will feel better.

Why a personal guide?

  • Sometimes we need support from someone who has no vested interest in us; family, friends, colleagues all have a unconscious agenda so it’s valuable to receive support from someone else.
  • All too often we get caught up in our symptoms and we can’t see the wood for the trees. Together we will discover the root cause of your symptoms and bring it into your field of focus. By integrating the root cause the symptoms heal of their own accord.
  • You are your own healer and all potential lies within you however, you may want guidance and teaching from someone you resonate and feel comfortable with, someone who can hold the space for you.
  • To help with issues including anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, chronic fatigue syndrome and other autoimmune diseases as well as illness.

As with any journey, your adventure will encounter an equal measure of hardship and bliss and will be accompanied with a sense of aliveness. You will grow confident as you tune into your sense of being and trust your inner guide. You will embody your courage and assertiveness as you discover your personal power based on truth and peace. You will take responsibility for your joy, freedom and abundance developing a relaxed confidence and inhabiting a sense of peace that is inherently yours. And you will learn to love yourself unconditionally and in turn find your compassion. You will become the person you want to be and more.

What I Share

  • Mindfulness and meditation
  • Self awareness
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Breath work
  • The power of dreams

How does it work?

We will develop a confidential relationship within boundaries that you are comfortable with. We will talk about issues that you are ready to challenge and how you feel your life should be different. Together we will identify the root causes of your dysfunctional behaviour and discuss techniques that will help you integrate negative emotional charges. We will develop an evolving practise that feels comfortable and realistic to you and I will provide support when you feel resistance and frustration. You will learn to use tools that may include mindfulness, meditation, somatic meditation, breath work, spiritualism and ritual, depending on what feels appropriate to you. You will also have the opportunity to learn how these modalities came to be and I will recommend classes, retreats, books, and other learning tools that will help expand your knowledge and understanding. You will end our relationship whenever you feel it is appropriate.

Take all that I say and toss away that which does not strike within you a recognition. For you do not learn wisdom and love. You only encounter catalysts to remember it, for it is all within yourself.

Why Amy?

Jon and I began a daily practise in 2012. We were on a 4 month holiday when we began the meditation course, Meditating With The Body by Reggie Ray of Dharma Ocean.

In 2015 we took a work hiatus with the intention of exploring our spirituality further. It was a scary decision because we didn’t know the outcome. Would we still be together, how would we change, would our friends still like us? We dove in regardless and we are still on that quest … together :).

My practise is grounded in meditation. In the silence and stillness of meditation I give myself the opportunity to see myself as I am. I have cried an ocean of tears, I have battled the pain of maintaining stillness, I have sat with the Divine and I have learnt the power of being the witness.

I have also embraced other healing modalities including plant medicine, dynamic meditation, shamanic practises, breath work and dark room retreats and these have given me insight into my dysfunctional behaviour linked to past trauma as well as awakened an inner-wisdom and power which guides me in the ongoing integration of my charged emotions and behaviour patterns that don’t serve me.

And yes, I have changed. I am different but I am nothing that I don’t want to be. I am more myself than ever and I see joy everywhere, even in my pain and suffering, my grief and anger.

I can support you because

  • I am grounded in my own being and I am objectively present for you.
  • I recognise that you are your own healer. My role is to remind you of your true potential, to teach you tools that you can use yourself and to shine a light to inspire you.
  • I am genuinely curious about you and your journey and I am willing to take responsibility for your growth and self-discovery.
  • I can offer you unconditional love and compassion having given myself unconditional love and compassion.

I couldn’t give Amy a stronger recommendation. I found her when I really needed her. I was a bit lost in terms of figuring out what my purpose was in this world . She truly listened to me and her encouragement was instrumental in giving me the courage to follow my truth.
When I started speaking to Amy, I had recently left a 2 year job in marketing which was soulless and mentally draining. Out of comfort I was looking at a similar type job which would have just perpetuated the cycle I had previously found myself in. With Amy’s support, I made the leap into regenerative agriculture and found myself living on a biodynamic farm in the heart of the Ashdown Forest. It was such a big change which is so scary but it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time and I’ve never felt more healthy. You’re the best Amy!! 💚

Amy truly is someone who helped me through a very difficult time, and I will be forever thankful. She helped me so gracefully, and always without judgment. She helped empower me to make my own decisions, she guided me in realizing that I am capable of giving myself what I need to feel content, and that I have it within me to make the best out of any situation. Amy has a presence and a way of being that makes you feel at ease and comfortable… as if you’re getting a big, warm hug.

Amy is the most honest, kind and straight-talking person I know. She has a natural ability to see to the root of my problems and to see what I really need, even if I don’t know it myself. She picks up on issues and steers me in the right direction in a very subtle way. She has also shared many powerful tools to help me on my personal development path. Our conversations have massively changed the way I think about life, health and wellbeing. I would recommend Amy to everyone who wants positive changes in their life. Some people are just born to help and Amy is definitely one of them!
